The firm was originally known as Callan, Lass and Associates P.C. in the early 1980’s. Dave Lass and Dennis Callan were the partners when they hired Kent Willis as an associate. Kent Willis has been practicing in Breckenridge since 1983. Dave Lass subsequently joined the 7th Judicial District bench as county court judge and then district court judge, now retired. In 2000, the firm became known as Callan & Willis, PC. After Dennis Callan retired from the firm in 2003, the firm became known as Willis & Associates, P.C. In 2008, Michael Connelly joined the firm, which is now known as Willis & Connelly, P.C.

The firm represents people buying and selling property, as well as real estate development, from vacant lots to condominiums, commercial and residential leases and the purchase and sale of a business. The firm has handled a number of complex real estate matters such as subdivision developments, bond financing and conservation easements.
The firm also handles boundary disputes, adverse possession, driveway easements, party wall agreements, mechanic’s liens, planning and zoning issues and construction disputes, as well as matters dealing with owners’ associations and condominiums
representing owners, owners’ associations and property management companies.
For well over a decade, Willis & Connelly, P.C. has made a name for itself in the fractional ownership market. We have worked closely with a number of real estate brokers who specialize in the sale of fractional ownerships. We prepare all of the necessary documents to establish a fractional ownership arrangement, as well as providing information regarding financing and structuring these agreements.
