The firm was originally known as Callan, Lass and Associates P.C. in the early 1980’s. Dave Lass and Dennis Callan were the partners when they hired Kent Willis as an associate. Dave Lass subsequently joined the 7th Judicial District bench as county court judge and then district court judge, now retired. In 2000, the firm became known as Callan & Willis, PC. After Dennis Callan retired from the firm in 2003, the firm became known as Willis & Associates, P.C. In 2008, Michael Connelly joined the firm, which became Willis & Connelly, P.C. a few years later. After Kent Willis retired, the firm became known as Tenmile Law.

The firm’s emphasis has always been on real estate matters, as well as small business matters. Tenmile Law represents people buying and selling property, as well as real estate development, from vacant lots to condominiums, commercial and residential leases and the purchase and sale of a business, and has handled a number of complex real estate matters such as subdivision developments, bond financing and conservation easements.
We also handles boundary disputes, adverse possession, driveway easements, party wall agreements, mechanic’s liens, planning and zoning issues and construction disputes, as well as matters dealing with owners’ associations and condominiums representing owners, owners’ associations and property management companies.
For approximately twenty years, Tenmile Law has made a name for itself in the fractional ownership market. We have worked closely with a number of real estate brokers who specialize in the sale of fractional ownerships. We prepare all of the necessary documents to establish a fractional ownership arrangement, as well as providing information regarding financing and structuring these agreements.
